While all along, the MMA community has been under the impression that the sticking point in keeping the Ronda Rousey vs. Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino "Super Fight" from happening was issues with Cyborg's weight, according to the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, it's more about money than anything else.
"Rowdy" Ronda took part in a Reddit A.M.A. (Ask Me Anything) chat on Monday, and when the Rousey-Cyborg potential Women's MMA dream match was brought up, Rousey stated that the hold up has actually centered around the financial aspect of the negotiations.
"She's just waiting to be offered enough money to get her ass kicked," said Rousey during the Reddit chat.
Regarding the Rousey-Cyborg "Super Fight" topic, Rousey concluded by saying she would like for a bout with Cyborg to be her MMA swan song, however she was quick to point out that whether or not the highly-anticipated bout happens, she fully intends to retire undefeated, regardless of who else she fights throughout the remainder of her professional fighting career.
Rousey concluded, "I would like me kicking her ass [to] be my retirement fight, but whether she steps up or not, I'll walk away undefeated and [live] happily ever after regardless."
