While Ronda Rousey's popularity increased following appearances in Sports Illustrated magazine, including a full photo spread and cover shot on the popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion actually first appeared in the magazine at age 14.
Back in 2001, Sports Illustrated listed then 14-year-old rising judo star Ronda Rousey as one of the sporting world's "Faces In The Crowd."
Rousey earned the mention in the magazine at the top of the list after winning multiple gold medals in the competitive judo world, as she was on her way to becoming an Olympic medalist in the sport.
